I started working at Boz December 31st 1996. At the time, my Father owned the shop and he was very strict on the standards he expected from me. Boz had already been open for decades and had always maintained a good reputation.

He taught me many things about the trade that I hadn’t learned at college. But the most important was “Listen to what the customer wants, then do exactly what they’ve asked for”.......... Hardly rocket science I know, but it’s served me very well. I’ve seen trends come and go over the years, from “Beckham’s” buzzcut, to the modern day “fade” and I’ve had to adapt every time. That’s what barbering is to me, a constant learning curve, every day is a school day. So when you combine that, with the desire to please each individual customer, it makes barbering a truly rewarding experience.
